End-to-End Revenue Cycle Management & Medical Billing

Revaynt Healthcare offers a coordinated scope for medical practices, from patient information checks through claim follow-up and reporting. Individual services can also be discussed based on your needs.

Front-End Revenue Cycle

Revenue cycle management connects the administrative steps before a patient visit with billing, payment processing and resolution of outstanding balances. These first steps get patient and coverage information right before billing begins.

Patient Registration & Demographic Entry

Enter and update patient details, insurance information and other required registration fields in your approved system. Identify missing or inconsistent information and coordinate clarification before the account moves into billing.

Insurance Eligibility & Benefits Verification

Check coverage status and available benefit information for the planned service. Record payer-provided details such as copays, deductibles and relevant referral or authorization requirements, and flag questions for the practice.

Verification does not guarantee payment.

Prior Authorization Support

Coordinate the administrative preparation and submission of authorization requests, using information supplied by the practice. Track reference numbers, payer responses and pending documentation.

Clinical decisions and medical necessity information remain with the treating provider; authorization does not guarantee payment.

Mid-Cycle Billing Processes

Documented care becomes supported charges and submitted claims.

Medical Coding Support

Translate documented diagnoses and procedures into applicable codes within the agreed specialty and care setting.

Coding work requires appropriately qualified personnel, documentation queries where needed and a defined review process. Clinical documentation must support the codes selected.

Charge Entry & Billing Preparation

Enter supported charges and review required patient, provider and insurance information before billing. Flag missing documentation or billing instructions and coordinate corrections with the responsible practice contact.

Claim Review & Submission

Check required claim fields and submit assigned claims through your approved billing system or clearinghouse. Monitor acknowledgments and rejections, coordinate supported corrections and track claims requiring further action.

Back-End Revenue Cycle

After claim submission, consistent payment tracking and follow-up help a practice understand what has been paid, what remains outstanding and which accounts need attention. These activities form the back end of the medical billing cycle.

Payment Posting

Record payments, adjustments and payer-reported patient responsibility from electronic remittance advice (ERA), explanations of benefits (EOBs) and approved patient receipt records. Identify unmatched payments or posting differences and route them for reconciliation.

Funds remain under the practice’s control.

Accounts Receivable Follow-Up

Review assigned unpaid or underpaid claims, check payer status and investigate the reason for outstanding balances. Document follow-up actions, reference numbers and next steps, with attention to relevant filing and appeal deadlines.

Denial Management & Appeals Support

Review denial reasons, identify missing information or correctable issues and coordinate appropriate resubmissions or appeals. Track outcomes and recurring patterns so the practice can review possible process improvements.

Clinical appeal information is supplied or approved by the authorized provider.

Patient Billing Support

Prepare patient statements and support balance inquiries according to the practice’s approved financial policies. Help clarify available account information and escalate disputes, payment arrangements or adjustments requiring practice approval.

Reporting & Account Reconciliation

Prepare agreed reports on billing activity, payments, outstanding balances, denials and pending work. Support reconciliation within the defined scope and highlight items requiring a financial or operational decision.

A connected billing workflow

Patient information and insurance checks lead into authorization support, coding, charge entry and claim submission. Payer responses then guide payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, denial resolution and patient billing.

Reporting connects these stages by showing completed work and unresolved items.
