Dental fee schedule review & negotiation support

Organize what each payer allows, compare it with the information you approve and coordinate requests under your written authorization. You decide; we prepare and follow up.

What a fee schedule review involves

A dental fee schedule lists the amount a payer will allow for each procedure code under your participation agreement. Those amounts can stay unchanged for years, while the cost of running a practice does not. Many practices therefore review their schedules when a contract is offered or renewed, when a plan changes terms or when they add providers or locations.

Revaynt Healthcare supports that review. We organize your existing schedules, compare them with the information you approve, prepare requests and coordinate communication with payers under your written authorization. You make every decision.

Please note: payers decide what they will offer. Fee increases are never guaranteed, and the practice makes all contract and rate decisions.

When practices ask for a review

There is rarely a perfect moment, but these are the situations where a structured review tends to be most useful.

A contract is offered or renewed

A new or renewing agreement is the natural moment to look at the schedule attached to it.

Rates have not moved in years

Long-unchanged schedules are worth comparing with your current office fees and costs.

New providers or locations

Growth often means joining payers or extending agreements, with schedules to match.

What we ask you to provide

  • Current payer fee schedules and participation agreements
  • Your office fee schedule
  • Any reference information you want used in the comparison
  • A signed written authorization for payer communication
  • A named decision-maker for rate and contract decisions

Dental billing is a separate scope and is not included automatically. This service can be combined with dental credentialing, insurance enrollment and EFT/ERA enrollment.

How we support the review

Fee schedule inventory

We gather your current schedules and contracts and organize them by payer, procedure code and effective date, so you can see what you are actually paid.

Comparison

Using the office fees, prior schedules and any reference information you supply or approve, we compare payer schedules and highlight where they differ.

Request preparation

We prepare clear, well-organized requests for the payer and gather the supporting information you approve.

Payer communication

Under your written authorization, we coordinate requests and correspondence with the payer and keep a log of every exchange.

Tracking and records

Responses, offers and outcomes are recorded so you can compare them and decide. Accepted changes are logged against the payer record.

Ongoing upkeep

Where it is in scope, we help keep schedules organized as renewals, new providers and new locations arrive.

How it works

1

Consultation and scope

We learn which payers and providers are involved and confirm availability and scope.

2

Written authorization

You authorize us in writing before any payer communication begins.

3

Gather and organize

We collect schedules, contracts and your approved reference information.

4

Review and request

We compare, prepare the request and coordinate it with the payer.

5

Follow up and decide

We track the response and present it to you. The decision is yours.

Where the lines are drawn

  • The practice makes all contract and rate decisions.
  • Fee increases are not guaranteed.
  • Payer communication happens only under written authorization.
  • Availability and scope are confirmed during consultation.
  • Dental billing is a separate scope and is not included automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Will you guarantee a fee increase?

No. Payers decide what they will offer, and no one can guarantee an outcome. What we provide is organization, preparation and follow-up, so your request is complete and your decision is informed.

Do you sign contracts for us?

No. The practice makes all contract and rate decisions. We prepare, coordinate and track; you review and approve.

Why is written authorization required?

Payers need to know who may speak for your practice, and you need a clear record of what we are permitted to do. We do not begin payer communication without it.

Is this available for every payer?

Availability and scope are confirmed during consultation, and they depend on the payer and the agreement.

Is this the same as dental billing?

No. Dental billing is a separate scope. Fee schedule review is a stand-alone support service and can be discussed on its own.

What do we receive at the end?

An organized record of your schedules, the comparison, the requests made, the payer responses and the decisions taken, in a format agreed with you.

Ready to review your payer schedules?

Tell us about your practice and payers and we will confirm whether and how we can support the review.
